Is there historical evidence that Napoleon converted at the end of his life? I’d be curious in more information. I think there’s a similar rumor about George Washington coming into full communion with the Church on his deathbed.
So I have heard the rumor of GW converting on his deathbed, however I have not seen anything to suggest that Napoleon did. It would be nice to know though

I had not seen this before. I know that Napoleon wrote in his will, near the end of his life "I die in the bosom of the Apostolic and Roman Church.”
