Men,

Good morning to all of you - (still) HAPPY EASTER and Quasimodo Sunday! I have taken a bit of a hiatus from writing due to some life changes and events (ALL WONDERFUL), but I am back on the saddle and have much to babble on about during this installment of Sunday Brew. First, let’s start with the home life. There are those who know and those who don’t, but my wife, Abigail is pregnant with our very first child, due on October 1st, the feast of St. Therese of Lisieux. It just so happens that this is my wife’s patron saint. Being a Catholic, I would say that there is not such a thing as a coincidence.

In May, we get to find out whether the baby is a boy or girl. Abigail and my father insist that it is a boy, but my in-laws disagree. I say we draw lots. Leave your prediction in the comments! (Spoiler, there are only two options….)

Either way, we are so excited to welcome the little flower into the world!

And God is able to make every grace abound in you, so that, always having what you need in all things, you may abound unto every good work

2 Corinthians 9:8

Due to the first addition of our family, it has quickly reminded me that God provides. I am blessed to have recently accepted a new job, helping me to provide for my growing family. Deo Gratias. In regard to all of these massive life changes, I took some time away from the keyboard. But if there is anything of importance that I can pass along to anyone, it is this….Be comfortable being uncomfortable, it is the only way to grow. Accept God’s will and let the Holy Spirit go to work in your life. Thank you all so much for your prayers, it seems the Guy upstairs is listening.

Also, our God child, David was baptized on Easter Sunday! It was such an honor to be a part of it and please keep him and his parents, Erik and Gabby in your prayers. They are such a wonderful, authentically catholic family that we are blessed to call friends.
